Can special nurse training ease the burden for cancer caregivers?
NCT ID NCT05053191
Summary
This study is testing a new training program for nurses called PACT. The goal is to see if it helps nurses better support family members who are caring for loved ones with advanced gastrointestinal cancer in the hospital. Researchers will observe how often nurses use these new skills and check if it leads to better outcomes for the caregivers. The study involves 84 nurses and family caregivers at a single cancer center.
