Summary

This study tested whether a nurse-led program, including education and an animated video, could reduce anxiety in 60 adults scheduled for coronary artery bypass graft surgery. Participants were split into two groups: one received the extra program, the other standard care. Researchers measured anxiety, stress hormones, and how patients rated their nursing care.
