Summary
This study tested a new phone-based support program for older adults living with moderate to severe COPD and the family or friends who help care for them. A trained nurse coach provided guidance over the phone to help manage symptoms, plan for the future, and improve daily life. The main goal was to see if patients and caregivers found the program helpful and practical to use.
