First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at how children without swallowing problems use their mouth and throat muscles when eating and drinking. Researchers will use sticky sensors on the skin to record muscle activity during spoon, straw, and cup feeding. The goal is to create a baseline of normal swallowing patterns, which could help doctors design better treatments for children with swallowing difficulties.
