First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests a new surgical technique called the NORD flap against the standard connective tissue graft for treating receding gums. The goal is to see if the new method covers exposed tooth roots just as well, but with less pain and fewer complications since it avoids a second surgical site. Sixty adults with mild gum recession will be treated and followed for 15 months.
