First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested a new device called ViTrack that measures blood pressure continuously without needing a needle in the artery. Researchers compared it to the standard method in 30 patients having surgery or in the intensive care unit. The goal was to see if the noninvasive monitor is accurate enough to replace the usual arterial catheter.
