VA tests simple posture changes as alternative to back surgery

NCT ID NCT06089746

Summary

This study is testing a non-surgical program to help older veterans with a common back condition called lumbar spinal stenosis. The program involves using a modified rolling walker and changing sleep positions to try to relieve pain and improve walking ability. Researchers will work closely with a small group of 20 veterans to see if this approach helps and to identify any challenges in using it.
