First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests if a non-invasive nerve stimulation (taVNS) combined with occupational therapy can help people who had a stroke more than 6 months ago improve arm and hand movement. The treatment is given through the skin on the neck, no surgery needed. 60 adults with arm weakness after a stroke will participate to see if this approach is safe and effective.
