Neck sensor could offer safer way to spot swallowing problems

NCT ID NCT07152691

Summary

This study aims to test a new, non-invasive wearable sensor that sticks to the neck to monitor swallowing muscle activity. It will involve 20 healthy adults and 20 people with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia). The goal is to see if this comfortable sensor can work as well as current, more invasive tests to help doctors better assess swallowing problems.
