New scans aim to replace risky kidney biopsies for transplant patients
NCT ID NCT06472947
Summary
This study is testing two new, non-invasive imaging techniques to monitor the health of a transplanted kidney. The goal is to see if these scans can provide the same information as a standard, invasive kidney biopsy, which carries risks like bleeding. Researchers will enroll 10 adult kidney transplant patients who already need a biopsy as part of their routine care to compare the results.
