Painless pregnancy test could predict dangerous conditions

NCT ID NCT04979312

Summary

This study is testing whether regular, painless glucose (sugar) monitoring during pregnancy can help predict who might develop gestational diabetes or preeclampsia. Researchers will follow 100 pregnant women with risk factors, comparing those who use the non-invasive monitor plus standard care against those receiving standard care alone. The study aims to gather information that could lead to earlier detection of these pregnancy complications.
