First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether mild electrical stimulation to the brain and spine can boost the effects of walking and balance exercises in people with Parkinson's disease who have trouble with falls and unsteady gait. About 71 participants (51 with Parkinson's and 20 healthy volunteers) will take part. The goal is to see if adding stimulation helps people walk faster and more safely while doing everyday tasks.
