Summary

This study compared a new non-invasive blood pressure monitor (ViTrack) to the standard arterial catheter in 30 patients undergoing surgery or in the intensive care unit. The goal was to see if the non-invasive device could measure blood pressure as accurately as the invasive method. Researchers checked blood pressure readings at 255 time points and also looked for any skin irritation from the device.
