Summary

This study tests a new hearing aid algorithm called SEDA-HA designed to help people with hearing loss understand speech better in noisy environments. Participants aged 16 and older with mild to severe bilateral sensorineural hearing loss will use a prototype hearing aid with the algorithm for 30 days at home. Researchers will measure how many words they can repeat in different background noises and whether they prefer the algorithm on or off.
