First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study compares two types of heart bypass surgery for people with coronary artery disease. One group gets a minimally invasive procedure through a small chest incision, avoiding touch to the aorta. The other group gets standard open-chest bypass. The goal is to see if the newer technique is as safe and effective at keeping bypass grafts open. About 260 adults will take part.
