First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special blood test (NMR) can help doctors quickly diagnose a serious lung inflammation called checkpoint inhibitor-related pneumonitis, which can happen in people taking immunotherapy for lung cancer. The test measures certain fats and other substances in the blood to tell the difference between patients with and without the condition. If successful, it could lead to earlier treatment and better outcomes for patients.
