Summary
This phase 2 trial is testing whether a supplement called nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) can protect the heart and kidneys of people undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery. Researchers will give NMN or a placebo to 90 adults at higher risk of complications. The main goal is to see if NMN raises levels of a key cell chemical (NAD+) in heart tissue and reduces injury after surgery.
