Engineered 'Natural Killer' cells target Tough-to-Treat blood cancer

Summary
This study is testing a new cell therapy for multiple myeloma that has come back or stopped responding to standard treatments. Doctors are giving patients immune cells (NK cells) from donated umbilical cord blood that have been genetically modified to better find and attack the cancer. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if this one-time treatment can help control the disease.
