First-in-Human trial tests 'Memory-Like' immune cells to fight tough cancers

Summary
This is a very early, small study to see if a new type of immune cell therapy is safe and possible to give to people. It will test a treatment made from a patient's own 'natural killer' immune cells, which are collected and specially prepared in a lab to potentially fight cancer. The study will involve about 10 people with advanced kidney or bladder cancer that has not responded to standard treatments.
