Experimental combo aims to tackle tough lymphomas

NCT ID NCT05272384

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 39 times

Summary

This early-phase trial is testing whether combining the immunotherapy drug nivolumab with the drug ASTX727 can help shrink or stabilize B-cell lymphomas that have returned or are not responding to treatment. About 32 adults with certain types of lymphoma will receive the combination to find the safest dose and check for side effects. The goal is to see if this approach can offer a new option for patients who have run out of standard treatments.

What could go wrong

This is a very early phase 1 trial with only 32 participants, so it is primarily testing safety and dosing. The combination may not work well or could cause significant side effects.
