Gas test for clot crisis

NCT ID NCT04996667

Summary

This study aimed to understand if a gas called inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) could help improve heart and lung function in patients with serious, life-threatening blood clots in the lungs (pulmonary embolism). It planned to enroll about 20 patients at UCLA Medical Center and measure their vital signs before, during, and after receiving the gas. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
