Breathing breakthrough? gas tested to ease COPD struggle
NCT ID NCT04231760
Summary
This study is testing if inhaling nitric oxide can help people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) breathe more efficiently, especially during exercise. Researchers will enroll 80 participants, including people with mild to moderate COPD and healthy individuals, to see if the gas improves how well the lungs exchange oxygen. The goal is to understand if this approach can reduce breathlessness and help people with COPD be more active.
