First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aimed to see if a non-invasive device using light (near infrared spectroscopy) could measure how well the heart is pumping in children with heart failure during routine clinic visits. Only 3 children took part before the study was stopped early. The goal was to find a simpler way to spot worsening heart failure without extra pokes or procedures.
