First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if a non-invasive device using light (near infrared spectroscopy) could measure heart function in children with heart failure during outpatient visits. Only 3 children were enrolled before the study was stopped. The goal was to find a simpler way to check heart status without extra pokes or procedures.
