Heart pressure showdown: which test tells the truth?
NCT ID NCT07512310
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at 623 adults with heart failure or high blood pressure in the lungs to see how well different heart pressure tests work. Doctors compared simple ultrasound tests with more invasive catheter measurements. The goal was to find which tests best show if the heart's filling pressure is too high, which can cause shortness of breath. Results will help doctors choose the right test for better diagnosis and treatment decisions.
