First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called NIO752 in 10 people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's. The drug is given via a spinal injection to try to reduce the brain's production of tau, a protein that forms harmful tangles and damages nerve cells. The main goal is to see if the drug safely lowers tau production, which could slow the disease.
