NCT ID NCT07243574

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at how sleep changes affect the bacteria in your gut. Researchers will ask 174 healthy adults to either sleep 1.5 hours more or less each night for two weeks. They will compare the gut bacteria of people who usually get enough sleep with those who don't, to see how the bacteria respond. No treatments or drugs are involved—just sleep tracking and stool samples.
