NCT ID NCT05561738

First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a vitamin B3-like supplement called nicotinamide riboside is safe and practical for children with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis. About 40 kids will take the supplement and have colonoscopies to check changes in their cells over 6 to 12 months. The main goal is to see if the study setup works, not to prove the supplement treats the disease.
