New inhaler shows promise for better asthma control in Real-World study
NCT ID NCT05168995
First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at 620 adults with asthma that was not well controlled by their current treatments. They used a combination inhaler (beclometasone/formoterol) delivered through the NEXThaler device for 6 months. The main goal was to see if their asthma control improved, based on a standard questionnaire about symptoms like wheezing and nighttime waking. The study was completed and provides real-world evidence on how this inhaler works outside of a lab setting.
