Affordable gait device shows promise for stroke recovery

Summary

This study tested a low-cost device called NewGait to help stroke survivors improve their walking. Twenty people who had a stroke at least six months ago tried the device and had their walking speed and muscle activity measured. The goal was to see if NewGait is easy to use and works better than other devices.
