Summary

This study is testing whether a new medication called aleniglipron is safe and helps with weight loss and blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes who are overweight or have obesity. About 50 participants will take either the drug or a placebo (inactive pill) daily for several months. Researchers will monitor side effects and measure changes in body weight and blood sugar levels.
