New Dual-Action injection enters weight loss race
NCT ID NCT07431086
Summary
This study is testing a new injectable medication called olatorepatide for weight management in people who are overweight or have obesity but do not have diabetes. Researchers will compare the drug to a placebo (inactive substance) in about 120 participants to see how safe it is, how well it works for weight loss, and how the body processes it. The main goals are to check for side effects and measure how much weight participants lose over the study period.
