Scientists test 'Universal' flu shot that could work against many strains

NCT ID NCT07340047

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new experimental flu vaccine called H1ssF, which researchers hope could provide broader protection against multiple flu strains. The trial will compare this new vaccine to the current seasonal flu shot (Flucelvax) in 112 adults, including some who have never received a flu vaccine and others who have been regularly vaccinated. Researchers will primarily check for safety and measure how well both vaccines trigger immune responses in participants.
