Sharper ultrasound aims to spot ovarian cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT07280312
Summary
This study is testing a new type of ultrasound imaging to see if it can better evaluate growths on or near the ovaries. The goal is to improve the ability to tell if a growth is cancerous before a patient has surgery. Researchers will enroll 40 women who are already scheduled for surgery to remove an ovarian or adnexal lesion. They will compare the new imaging results to the final pathology report from the surgery to see if it's more accurate.
