New ultrasound tech aims to spot cancer better
NCT ID NCT04136912
Summary
This study tested a new type of ultrasound imaging called acoustic angiography. It was designed to see tiny blood vessels in breast and thyroid tumors more clearly, hoping to help doctors better tell if a growth is cancerous. The study included patients scheduled for biopsies and some healthy volunteers, but it ended early due to lack of funding and did not complete its goals.
