Titanium vs. plastic: the battle for a better backbone
NCT ID NCT05182489
Summary
This study is testing whether a new type of textured titanium cage works better than the standard plastic cage for spinal fusion surgery. It involves 100 adults with severe back problems who haven't improved with other treatments. Researchers will follow patients for two years to see which cage helps bones fuse together more solidly and quickly.
