Could a simple test predict dangerous pregnancy blood pressure years in advance?
NCT ID NCT05999851
Summary
This study aims to find better ways to predict which pregnant women will develop serious high blood pressure conditions like preeclampsia. Researchers will test 400 women in their first trimester using special blood vessel measurements and blood tests. The goal is to see if these new measurements can spot risk earlier than current methods and also predict the mother's long-term heart health.
