Doctors test 'Chemo Mist' for tough stomach cancers
NCT ID NCT06675136
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new way to deliver chemotherapy for advanced stomach cancer that has spread to the abdominal lining. Researchers are combining a standard second-line treatment with a new method that sprays chemotherapy as a fine mist directly into the abdomen during a small procedure. The main goal is to find the safest dose and see if this combined approach helps control the cancer in 30 patients whose initial treatment has stopped working.
