Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new drug called BAY 3389934 for people with sepsis-induced coagulopathy, a dangerous condition where severe infection causes abnormal blood clotting. Researchers will give the drug to 36 hospitalized ICU patients, starting with low doses and carefully monitoring for side effects before trying higher doses. The goal is to find a safe dose range and understand how the drug affects blood clotting in critically ill patients.
