New scan could spot hidden heart valve infections

Summary
This study is testing a new type of imaging scan to see if it can better detect infections on artificial heart valves. Researchers will compare the new scan to the current standard scan in 40 adults who are suspected of having such an infection. The goal is to see if the new method is more accurate and easier for patients, especially those with diabetes.
