Scientists test Three-Pronged attack on aggressive sarcoma

NCT ID NCT05813327

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing a new three-part treatment for people with intermediate or high-grade soft tissue sarcoma in the arms, legs, or trunk. Before surgery, participants receive a new drug called ADI-PEG 20 along with a standard chemotherapy (ifosfamide) and radiation therapy. The main goals are to find the safest dose of this combination and to see how well it shrinks the tumor to make surgery more successful.
