Robot surgeons get GPS for prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT07272317

Summary

This study is testing a new high-tech navigation system designed to help surgeons perform more precise prostate cancer removal. It combines multiple advanced scans to create a real-time 3D map during robot-assisted surgery. The goal is to help surgeons better see and remove cancer while protecting nearby nerves that control bladder and sexual function, aiming for fewer side effects and lower cancer recurrence.
