New Triple-Threat treatment tested for advanced rectal cancer
NCT ID NCT06850103
Summary
This study is testing a new combination treatment for people with rectal cancer that has spread to a few other places in the body. The goal is to see if a short course of radiation, followed by chemotherapy and an immunotherapy drug, can better control the cancer and reduce the chance of it coming back. It is for patients whose cancer has not responded well to standard immunotherapy approaches.
