Radiation blast before surgery: new attack on aggressive prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT07182279
Summary
This study is testing a new treatment approach for men with high-risk prostate cancer that hasn't spread. It adds a powerful, targeted dose of radiation directly to the prostate a few weeks before the standard robotic surgery to remove it. The goal is to see if this combined approach is safe and can better control the cancer, potentially reducing the chance it comes back.
