Targeted radiation zaps advanced prostate cancer in new trial

NCT ID NCT05570994

Summary

This study is testing a new, personalized radiation treatment for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and is no longer responding to standard hormone-blocking drugs. The treatment uses a radioactive drug that seeks out and delivers radiation directly to prostate cancer cells. Researchers aim to find the safest and most effective dose while measuring how well it controls the cancer and impacts quality of life.
