New scan aims to pinpoint hidden prostate cancer

Summary

This study is testing a new type of imaging scan to see if it can better locate prostate cancer in the body. It is for men who have been newly diagnosed with high-risk cancer or whose cancer has returned after initial treatment. Participants receive an injection of a radioactive tracer and then undergo a PET/CT scan to see if it can more accurately find cancer spots than current standard imaging.
