First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new fluorescent dye that attaches to cancer cells, helping surgeons see exactly where a stomach tumor ends during surgery. The probe is tested on freshly removed stomach tissue from 32 patients. If successful, it could lead to more precise cancer removal and fewer repeat surgeries.
