Breakthrough scan could match cancer patients to best treatments
NCT ID NCT07442292
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET scan that detects a protein called PD-L1 in tumors. Researchers want to see if this scan can identify which patients with lung cancer, melanoma, or other solid tumors are most likely to benefit from immunotherapy drugs. The scan uses a radioactive tracer to create images showing where PD-L1 is present in the body.
