Summary
This early study tests a new imaging agent called 89Zr-DFO-YS5, which attaches to a protein (CD46) found on aggressive prostate cancer cells. Thirty men with advanced prostate cancer will receive the agent and then undergo PET scans to see if the cancer lights up. The goal is to see if this scan can better detect hard-to-find tumors, which could help doctors choose the right treatments in the future.
