New 3-Day pain relief shot tested for chest surgery patients

NCT ID NCT07441902

Summary

This study is testing a new, long-acting pain relief injection for patients having a type of minimally invasive chest surgery. Researchers want to see if a special nerve block using a slow-release numbing medicine can better control pain after surgery compared to standard methods. The goal is to help patients recover more comfortably, use fewer opioid painkillers, and potentially avoid long-term pain.
