Breathing breakthrough: new tube design aims to prevent oxygen drops during lung procedures
NCT ID NCT07389083
Summary
This study is testing a modified oxygen delivery method for patients undergoing sedated lung exams (bronchoscopy). Researchers are using a thinner breathing tube inserted through the nose to see if it provides better oxygen flow and reduces the risk of low oxygen levels during the procedure. The goal is to improve patient safety and comfort for people having these common diagnostic tests.
